Felipe Rutini (2012)
Felipe Rutini is the iconic wine from Rutini Wines - it was the wine that was served at Messi's wedding.
This wine is among the top 50 wines in South America. The production of Felipe Rutini began in 1981, as a tribute to Don Felipe Rutini to be released 4 years later, in 1985, for the winery’s 100th anniversary. Leading the innovation in the industry, Felipe Rutini was the first label to use its proprietary name.
Vibrant aromas of ripe, intense fruits are found in complex layers of cherries, strawberries and plumbs, with notes of cocoa, tobacco, leather and dark chocolate imparted by French oak. This medium to full-bodied red wine is beautifully balanced, with great depth, concentrated red fruit flavours and elegant, silky tannins.
This stunning red blend harmoniosly combines the individual characteristics of each of the three grapes varieties (Bordeaux Blend: 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 20% Malbec).
